1. D Google Earth image with Depth Data overlay– This will give you a lay-of-the-land view of the area so you can familiarize yourself with the area you are about to fish.

Sediment Chart Overlay– These charts hold some key info to help you understand what you are looking at on the SideScan Mosaics.

Depth Data– Highlights major changes in the bottom.

Bottom Type Data – This view highlights the bottom hardness, from soft sludge to rock.

SideScan Mosaic – The SideScan image is a moon like image of the bottom. As if the dam had been drained, a bright light shone across it from an angle, and then a photo taken.

Lowrance Chart Map (.lcm) – This chart will give you the dam outline with names, depth contours, river channels, ledges, timber, man made objects (bridges, buildings, roads, construction equipment, sunken boats, cars etc), spawn beds, rocks and rock piles of each specific area. The amount of detail can be turned on and off via the HDS unit’s category selection menu.

High Definition 3D like SideScan Images – Each area will be broken into Zones, and each zone will have a very detailed image of the bottom. All the images are viewable on the Lowrance HDS display so there is no need to take prints with you.

Lowrance Emulator for PC (included) – This will allow you to view the charts on your PC or Laptop, create waypoints and routes and save them for use with your Lowrance. For non – Lowrance users, this data can then be converted for use with your Humminbird, Garmin, Furuno, Magellan, Raymarine, Tom Tom, Google Earth or even CSV text.

Security – Each map is secured by means of the owner’s details being encrypted into the charts which cannot be deleted or modified in any way.

Chart Updates– It is my intension to add a new chart at least once a month. The three dams that will have sections added randomly, will be Inanda, Albert Falls , Nagle and Midmar. Feel free to send me a private message or an email if there is an area you would like done – the most popular areas will be prioritized.
