Durban – Limestone Reef in 3D

I wanted to see what the Eagle FishElite480 could do in saltwater, so I tried it off Vetches Reef on Limestone. It is a shallow reef, but a good example none the less. There was quite a big swell running, so the conditions were not optimal for mapping, but the results were still excellent.

On playback, the definition between reef and sand was very clear, not to mention the fish hanging around the reef:-

Being able to pause playback and get the exact location, depth, date and time at any point of the playback is a massive advantage to any angler.
